OK CHECK NGO

OK CHECK was founded in 2019 by Koudieji Maguiraga and Odette Ngoubi.

We are young professionals working in the private sector and believe that Africa and other developed countries will provide the next generation of innovations and growth. To be able to fulfill this role, this continent will need to feel that the culture that they belong are rich and exceptional, and composed already of individuals that are looking to get a change.

Both founders are Ambassadors at One Young World, which is a network of young leaders in 196 countries from global and national companies, NGOs, universities and other forward-thinking organizations’ working to accelerate change and generate major impacts on their local communities based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals from the United Nation.

OUR MISSION

The aim is to create a multi-platform language that promotes contents on their own local languages, other than using ex-colonials’ languages and promotes cultures and diversity of African and other developing countries.

Our mission is to raise the richness of the diversity of those cultures, and examples of success stories that could be reproduced to generate an economic, social, environmental, political impact on their local communities. We believe that ideas are not enough to start something, you need to get the motivation to start our own venture. We would like to propose some tangible examples from individuals, who have been passing through this step, and by their own example and success stories, inspire a whole new generation of the number of occasions and opportunities they could access and increase their awareness of the possibilities that could be offered to them, but also to their own communities depending of their needs. We also believe that everyone could create their own ventures with or without money and can start from anywhere and make their own way to success.
Our portraits will have any backgrounds, and provide advice to start business, development and social ventures, and propose partnerships, sponsors, and grants for entrepreneurs and individuals.

OUR BELIEVES

believes that linguistic diversity defines Africa, as one of the most linguistically diverse continents on the planet. But there are still lot of in the world. Language is intrinsic to the expression of culture. As a means of communicating values, beliefs and customs, it has an important social function and fosters feelings of group identity and solidarity. It is how culture and its traditions and shared values may be conveyed and preserved. These are grouped into geographically located categories; the largest being Afroasiatic, Nilo-Saharan, Niger-Congo, and Bantu.

From the Colonialism system, the English language has remained one of the barriers of inclusion and diversity. We conceived by providing quality contents in local languages, we would have a major impact on communities and generates actions from individuals to improve by themselves their living communities. Also, we would generate a positive impact on the valorization on local cultures and reverses the effects on the colonialism system for a new generation of Young African leaders, that would be aware of the beauty of their cultures and ancestors before them.
